Midgard, one of the nine realms. It is the realm of mortal men, positioned in the center of the world tree Yggdrasil. This is a world of brave warriors, warriors who seek to prove themselves to the gods. Always has Midgard been in constant war and it will continue to be so, until the end of day’s, Ragnarok!

Midgard is a land ruled by politics and power.  The position of your town or nation in the world makes all the difference.  Mountain strongholds protecting sacred land or trade towns created around npc villages, your route to power depends on your ability and your position.  Sell-sword, landowner, or highwayman, what is your path to fame and fortune?

The Towny plugin allows for the claiming of land and control of build and destroy permissions for that land.  Land is gained by population and wealth.  Towns can be founded for a price, but kingdoms can be made to gather several towns under one banner.

Every two weeks, the horn of war sounds.  For one weekend, all bets are off.  Scores are kept, and whatever nation wins gets gold, glory, and a trophy.

No one is going to escape this cataclysmic event! But if everyone does their part Midgard has a chance.
