Greetings Traveler, and welcome to the realm of Midgard. This is the realm of mortal men, where constant war rules the lands and dark creatures of the night that tries to invade our homes!

Your journey starts in Valkyr.  Born a Valkyrion, growing up you where, like all children of Valkyr, told the tales of the great wars and the events that send the islands to Valkyr. And with those tales comes the mysteries of the islands. Like most, you are a glory seeking adventurer, and with some experience maybe it will be you who will shed light on the secretes of Valkyr.

Valkyr also hold the magical portals of the Bifrost, they are a gift to the Valkyries from the god Heimdall. Its known that 4 of these portals take you to the realm of men, while others take you to worlds filled with more horrors then most people can handle.

To start your adventure simply walk through one of the four magical portals that leads to Midgard. They will take you either to the North, West, East and South part of the realm. As you walk through the portal you are noticed by the gods, they sends their blessing to this new arrival in the  form of some useful tools and resources. (/kit starter)

From here the possibilities are almost endless. You can go from the lonely traveler that you are, to become a leader of one of the great factions that seeks to rule that land. You might even go so far as to defeat some of the others factions in your conquest. But as of now, you are still that lonely traveler. So let’s get you going in the right direction.

Let’s start with the essential. A good thing to start with is to find some food. You can do this by either hunting for animals to kill or you can chop down trees to get it’s apples. Later, when you are well established, you can make farms of wheat and keep animals to raise.

Now brace yourself, night is coming. You need to shelter yourself from the monsters that lurk in the shadows. That is of course, if you don’t plan on challenging them. The hordes of the undead and the other creatures of the night is not an easy match. But if you think you have what it takes to slay some, then realm could use a brave warrior to aid in it’s defense.

Now after the first night everything is up to you. You can either start your own faction and try and fight for the control of Midgard. You can also join one of the already waring factions. Most factions will not just let you in because you ask them nicely. You have to prove yourself. Nothing will be given to you. You have to show people what you are made of, and if you want something you have to take it.

To prove yourself to a faction you can do lots of stuff. Some might want you to kill someone for them, others might want you to gather resources or maybe that you build something to show of your building skills. You have to find out what you are best at and find a faction that is in need of your talent. Don’t just join any faction. Finding a faction that is low on people of your kind is better then going to one where everyone has the same skills.

Well now you know all that you need to know to make your mark on the world. So go out and show the world what you are made of. But beware. Some people will not think twice about stabbing your back or slaying you without a cause. Now go, Midgard awaits!
